About NCD Collab
NCD Collab is a comprehensive health facility collaboration and referral platform commissioned by
Dr. Kwaku Gyamfi Oppong, Principal Investigator and Lecturer at
Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), for the purposes of an
NCD intervention study in the Ashanti Region of Ghana.
The system was designed, built, and is maintained by Trancova Systems Ltd (IT
Consultant & Developer). We prioritise your privacy and comply with the Ghana Data Protection
Act, 2012 (Act 843) to ensure your sensitive health and personal information is handled securely.
How to Request Account Deletion
Send an email to our support team from your registered email address. To verify your identity
and authorise the process, your email must include the information listed in the steps below.

Your registered email address
The email address you use to log in to NCD Collab.

Your health facility name
The name of the facility linked to your account.

Deletion confirmation statement
A clear written statement confirming you want your account permanently deleted.

What Happens Next
After we verify your identity, your account and associated data will be
deleted within 30 days. You will receive a confirmation email once the deletion
is complete.
The following data will be securely and permanently removed:
- Your login credentials (email, password hashes, authentication tokens)
- Your facility account profile and settings
- All messages associated with your account
- Device push notification tokens
- Technical and connectivity logs
Important Exceptions
Some records may be retained after deletion. Certain patient referral records
and clinical data may be temporarily retained where required for:
- Legal compliance under Ghanaian health regulations
- Clinical audit obligations
- Patient continuity-of-care tracking
Such records will be anonymised or pseudonymised wherever possible.
